General description

The ACCDmxMod allows you to

generate a DMX512 frame from Modbus commands

bullet

to control DMX512 devices (usually lightings) with a PLC

 

The ACCDmxMod is Modbus compatible.

 

DMX512 part

The ACCDmxMod is compatible with the 250 kbits/sec DMX512.

The ACCDmxMod generates the entire DMX512 frame.

The DMX start code byte (precedes the first DMX512 byte) is 0.

 

Modbus

Baud rate: 2400 bauds to 19200 bauds.

Address 1 to 15.

2 or 4 wires with or without termination resistor.

RTU or ASCII dialog.

Recognized commands: command 06 (write register) and 16 (write register(s)).
