Modbus 3 PWM interface unit
Dimensions: 107mm x 90mm x 70mm Clickable on a DIN rail General descriptionThe ACC3PwmMod allows you to:
The ACC3PwmMod is Modbus compatible.
OutputsThe outputs are Mosfets transistors which connect the load to ground (open drain). Each output can sink 1,8A (protecting with a resettable fuse). The PWM frequency is selectable (59Hz, 119Hz, 1kHz ou 4kHz). This is useful for the Rainbow or Fibonacci command.
Modbus Baud rate: 2400 bauds to 19200 bauds. Address 1 to 15. 2 or 4 wires with or without termination resistor. RTU dialog. Recognized command: 16 (write register(s)).
Modbus commands specialties The ACC3PwmMod has been specially designed to answer specific lighttherapy commands. The lighttherapy uses two modes:
1) the standard colour mode This mode is the simples mode. It allows to adjust a specific PWM value on each output. Here is how this mode is implemented in the ACC3PwmMod Registers allocation for commande16:
2) the Rainbow or Fibonacci mode This mode is an automatic accelerated rotation of the 12 lighttherapy colours as follows: 0: Magenta (50%R, 0%G, 50%B) 1: Rose (75%R, 0%G, 25%B) 2: Red feu (100%R, 0%G, 0%B) 3: Orange (50%R, 0%G, 50%B) 4: Yellow (50%R, 50%G, 0%B) 5: Chartreuse green (25%R, 75%G, 0%B) 6: Green (0%R, 100%G, 0%B) 7: Spring green (0%R, 75%G, 25%B) 8: Cyanl (0%R, 50%G, 50%B) 9: Azure (0%R, 25%G, 75%B) 10: Blue (0%R, 0%G, 100%B) 11: Violet (25%R, 0%G, 75%B) The display time of each colour is shortened according to the Fibonacci sequence. The final minimal time is dependant of the PWM frequency (1 cycle as final value, ie 250us for a 4kHz PWM frequency) Here is how this mode is implemented in the ACC3PwmMod Registers allocation for commande16:
Power supply: The ACC3PwmMod is powered by a 8 to 35V DC voltage. The PWM connector has its own power supply connection allowing the use of a specific voltage for the PWM stage.
